Mom's Cactus Photo

Here's Mom's cactus photo that I told you about yesterday. Isn't it beautiful? She added the photo below to show what the whole plant looks like. Look at all those buds! Nice job, Mom!

P.S. Mom lives in Connecticut, just 30 minutes from me. She likes to visit Arizona to visit her cousin Joan. She always brings home some great photos.

I might try that close up as a inspiration for color for a future quilt. Should get me out of the rut.

Gorgeous! would love to see it again with all those buds in full bloom! So, where does mom LIVE? And are those growing wild, or did she plant them in a garden?

Beautiful! Some of succulents were in bloom when I was in California at the end of November. The flowers are something else! I will email you a couple photos.

Just beautiful. I've never been in the desert this time of year, so it is wonderful to be able to enjoy the beaty second hand.

Thanks for sharing.

What a gorgeous photo! The cactus around here in southern California never looks that pretty! And there's plenty of it. I sure see where you get your artistic talent! Lucky you, spending a day playing with your mother.
