Trade this Book?

I'm looking for a copy of this book. If you have one that you're finished with, I'd be happy to send you a copy of my selvage book in exchange. Thanks.

I wouldn't mind a copy of that book either, since my mom has overloaded me with ties from estate pick ups that she goes on.

I'll be on the lookout when I visit the used book store this weekend. I did just find it at www.half.com but it's really $$$$$! Good luck! Try asking in the Forum at www.thequiltshow.com

I forgot to tell you, I gave m DH's ties to a friend whose daughter made her the cutest bag/purse out of them.

I started using ties today to try some various quilt styles, and they are slippery to work with. I used fusible interfacing, but that dragged on my presserfoot and distorted by block. Maybe I should include some cotton shirt fabric so that I'm not sewing silk to silk. I had the best results using muslin foundation piecing and no fusible interfacing on the ties. I'll keep you posted.

Bookfinder.com is a good way to look for books. The lowest price for this book is $38, though! Hope you can arrange a swap.

Sorry I don't have it. Is it very old?

Karen, why do you want this book? I have it but I'm not sure I want to get rid of it yet.

Mayleen is sending me her copy to take a look at. Thanks so much! If I learn how to tame these slippery ties into some nice quilts, I'll report back to you here on the blog.
